I started working at the dealership with my Dad, Jon Grossman, in 1992. I am on-site full-time, splitting my time between Chevrolet and Nissan, and make myself available to all customers. My offices have direct access to the showroom. We live and work in a beautiful area full of wonderful people. I try very hard to make our dealerships part of the local community because without them we would not be successful! We try to participate in as many local events as possible so check our website or Facebook for current events. I have also served on the board of the Community Music School in Centerbrook for over 8 years. They, too, are a fabulous local institution that helps to enrich the wonderful quality of life we all enjoy in this area. While we may not grow quickly in the Old Saybrook area, I wouldn't have it any other way! I have raised 3 children in Essex and appreciate the beauty, safety and communal feel of our area.

Shelby joined the Grossman Chevrolet Nissan team in 2016. She has a bachelor's degree in Communication and Marketing from Central Connecticut State University, and an associate's degree in Multimedia from Middlesex Community College. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, listening to audio books, and going to tag sales and flea markets with her husband, Benny, and son, Avery. As a strong advocate of giving back to the Shoreline community and organizes charity events such as Cram A Van, Pet Celebration Month, and Touch A Truck.

John joined the Chevrolet team in November 2019 with 25 years of experience with Chevrolet and General Motors. Originally from the New Haven area, and a lifelong Connecticut resident, John enjoys providing a fantastic customer purchase experience! His hobbies include classic automobile restoration, spending time helping with community events, and growing the customer loyalty family at Grossman Chevrolet.

Filipe has been in the car business since 2008 starting as a Lot Guy. Over the years he has worked in almost every aspect of the car industry from Salesman to Finance. He had his first experience with the Nissan brand in 2009. Portuguese is his first language as he is originally from Brazil and moved to the states when he was 5 years old. Eu falo português!

Dave has been in the auto business for over 35 years starting as a Sales Associate and worked his way up to Used Car Manager, Business Manager, Sales Manager, GSM, and GM. He has expertise in the used car market as a buyer and appraiser, with knowledge of highline foreign and domestic vehicles, as well as Ford and General Motors. As a child in the 60's, he and his Dad worked on vehicles and raced quarter midgets. He is a Vietnam era Veteran who was honorably discharged from the US Air Force. Hooah!

Bill is a seasoned veteran with over 22 years of General Motors experience. He strives to provide an honest and transparent experience to all guests he encounters. He has served in many facets of the dealership. Besides being a Chevrolet Product Specialist, he also has been a GM Master Certified Technology expert for over 15 years. When not handling his customer's needs, he enjoys spending time with his two children, a teenaged daughter and toddler son. Bill is a lifetime Wallingford, CT resident. Loves watching football, especially his beloved Green Bay Packers. He owns part of the Pack. Bill knows how to work, love, and play hard!

Chris is a local resident of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, but originally from Bristol. Chris has been working in the car business since the early 1990's starting his career wholesaling cars which lead to his first sales position working for his father at Chevrolet. His dream was always to open up a family used car business with his dad Steve Murphy which ended up being achieved.  Chris is a big family guy who loves baseball and vacationing in Walt Disney World.

Before Grossman Nissan, Cody had no experience with automotive sales. He joined the team due to the opportunity to work one on one with people. Being always most concerned with vehicle safety for "his drivers", he quickly became enchanted by how much Nissan's values mirror his own. With experience he's acquired here at Grossman's, he'll happily explain anything you need, from mechanics to technology and beyond.

Joe is a long-standing member of the Grossman team and joined us in 2011 at our Nissan dealership. Now at Chevrolet, Joe quickly became our Chevrolet Truck Specialist and Inventory Manager. Previously, Joe had a long career with the Radio Shack Corporation as a Senior Training and Sales Manager for the Connecticut Shoreline. He continues to have a reputation of very high customer satisfaction and says, "Call Joe. The guy you know!" Joe is an avid outdoors man, plays guitar, and is very talented singer songwriter.

Miguel has been with the Grossman Chevrolet Nissan group since June 2021. He started in the automotive industry since 2005 and he loves everything related to the world of automobiles. Before working here, Miguel sold cars in Venezuela. He started out selling Mack, Mercedes Benz and Freightliners line trucks and soon became the top seller at his dealership selling a record 45 big trucks in one month. Miguel continued to develop his sales skills and has used the skills to help Spanish speaking clients to give them the most impressive experience possible. Yo hablo español!

Sarah comes to us with 7 years of sales and customer service experience! She grew up in the New Haven area and has 2 little ones at home. She loves spending all her free time with her kids and being active whether it's playing basketball or going to the gym.

Sean comes to Grossmans with 3 years of experience in marketing and acquiring accounts in telecommunications services. While recruiting for the company he would also build long lasting relationships with people. He loves spending time with his German Shepherd-Great Pyrenees mix, Kaya, out in the woods exploring and playing frisbee. He also is a total foodie and enjoys playing 8-ball pool, poker, blackjack, and spending time with friends and family.

Natalie has been working in the customer service industry since 2018 and has a background in real estate. She has a passion for client satisfaction and providing customers the information they need to make their next purchase. Natalie has 3 cats named Bing, Pickle and Pudge. Outside of work she loves to read, travel, cook, and any form of art.

Jose has worked for Grossmans for over 30 years! He is one of the most dedicated employees here and is a jack of all trades. When he's not working around the dealership, he enjoys spending time with his family and fishing!

With 21 years of experience working with Nissan, Jeff brings a knowledge and expertise of all things Nissan. When he's not at the dealership, he's spending time with his wife, two kids, and his dog, "Jack". Jeff use to play baseball for the city of New Haven, Connecticut. One year, he helped his team make it all the way to the city Championship! He has a love of all sports, especially football and baseball and follows the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.

After a brief hiatus, Mark rejoined the Grossman family in the summer of 2017. He has called Old Saybrook, CT, home his entire life. In his free time he plays guitar at home and fills in as needed in several local bands. He has a love of Military history and is especially fascinated with World War II. Mark has also been known to be quiet the animal whisperer and has tamed a few neighboring squirrels who can now be hand fed!

Being part of a family who owned a Ford dealership in Connecticut is how Carrie got roped into the car business. But she never looked back! She has worked with Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep for 11 years in the Service Department, so she brings great experience and energy to our Nissan Service Drive! She has two teenage children, and two Jack Russells, Jackie and Lucy. Carrie enjoys watching her son play golf and daughter play softball. You could catch her watching a New York Yankees game or enjoying some time on the beach outside of work. She is a huge animal lover, especially dogs, so please bring your pup with you on your next service visit!

Efrem has been in the automotive industry since 1988. He spent his first twelve years running stores for Firestone. Since 2000 he has worked in dealerships of many brands including Toyota, Hyundai, Chrysler Dodge Jeep, and now Nissan. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1987. He's married and lives in Hebron, CT and has 2 grown children, a son and a daughter.

Catherine has over 20 years of experience in sales and customer service. She resides in Groton with her husband and German Shepard named Hanna. She is a proud Mom of three grown sons. In her free time she loves hanging out with her Grandchildren, spending time at the beach, and listening to music.

Bryan joined the Grossman team in 2008 and has worked in several departments within the company including Service Technician, Service Advisor, Warranty Administrator, and in our Parts Department. With Bryan's years of experience, he truly is an asset to our company. In our free time he enjoys spending time with his two French Bulldogs, Riley and Zoe.

As someone who has been in the automobile business for over 30 years, Linda brings her experience as a Dealer Principal, General Manager, Sales Manager, Used Car Manager and Controller for multiple brands. She has been with Grossmans for about 10 years now and has works with Nissan for over 15 years and General Motors for over 10 years. She lives in Old Lyme with her adorable shih tzu puppy, Mario.

Carrie joined the Grossman team in 2012 starting as a receptionist and cashier. Within a couple years she began working as a Title Clerk, and now in the Accounts Receivable/Payable Department. A true 'Jack of All Trades'! She lives in Old Lyme with her husband and 3 sons. They have a Rottweiler named Roxie and a cat named Callie. In her free time, she enjoys watching her sons play sports including Basketball, Baseball and Tennis, spending time at the beach, and loves listening to music.

Lorna joined us in November of 2018 with lots of previous experience of working face to face with customers, as well as over the phone. She lives in Killingworth with her husband. She has 2 grown sons and a grandson who are her world. She likes to watch and cheer on the New York Yankees and the Clemson Tigers, and spend time with her family.

Martha is a lifelong resident of New London County and an Illustration Alumni of the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art in Old Lyme. She has illustrated a children's book, "Perry Boney and the World's Smallest Store", which is set in Connecticut. In her spare time Martha likes to go urban hiking with friends, as well continuing her art. Her first job was answering phones in the Registrar's office at Three Rivers Community College and she has enjoyed the office environment ever since.

Brandon grew up and has lived in the Essex, Old Lyme area for most of his life. He graduated from Valley Regional High School in 2016 and has worked in a wide range of jobs from DJ, chef, to working in retail. He enjoys listening to music and eating delicious food.

Carol Ann joined us in May of 2019 with over 14 years of experience of working in the car industry! She has great customer service and answers our incoming calls. She lives in Portland, CT with her two pups Rosie and Mulligan. In her free time, she enjoys working out, visiting local wineries, and spending time at the beach.

Chris has been in the Automotive Business for nearly 20 years in various roles. He has worked with multiple product lines from mainstream domestic to luxury import and all in between. As director of the Finance and Insurance department, he brings expediency and fair terms for our guests to take. When not at the dealership, he enjoys finding new restaurants, but also enjoys cooking, his car collection, spending time with friends and family, and drives on the shore.

Ariel started with Grossmans originally as Product Specialist, but after a year he proved to be an asset to the business. We are happy to now have him as one of our Business Officers! He enjoys listening to podcasts on his hour-long commute to Old Saybrook. On the weekend, he enjoys spending time with his two beautiful daughters. Ariel strives to treat every customer like they're family and he wouldn't have it any other way.

Jennifer has worked in the Collision Industry since 2017 and joined Grossmans in 2019. She enjoys cooking for her family and flower gardening. Living in the shoreline area, Jennifer gets to enjoy the beach as often as she can.

Tammi is an artistic entrepreneur at heart. Outside of Grossman Collision she runs a Paparazzi and Scentsy business, and loves to paint, draw and do anything and everything with arts and crafts. Family is very important to her and she spends a lot of time with her son, AJ, her mother, grandmother and her dog Lillie.
